FortyCloud,  a pioneer in network Security as a Service for the cloud, is the most recent member to join Canonical’s growing charm ecosystem.

Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme helps solution providers make best use of Canonical’s cloud orchestration tool, Juju, enabling instant workload deployment, integration, and scaling at the click of a button. Juju makes it easy to deliver complete solutions in minutes, on virtually any public or private cloud.

FortyCloud’s Cloud Network Firewall solution is an innovative security solution for cloud infrastructure deployments, blending Software Defined Security (SDS) and Software Defined Networking (SDN). FortyCloud builds a new virtual private network over any public or hybrid cloud infrastructure and augments it with firewall layers on top, creating an end to end security solution encompassing encryption, identity integration, access management and auditing. This private cloud network can also securely connect any remote device, enterprise site or business partner network.

“FortyCloud is an invaluable security solution for members of the Juju ecosystem, particularly those in finance, healthcare or IoT,” said Maarten Ectors, VP of IoT at Canonical. “By using FortyCloud’s gateway and agents via a simple GUI, they’ll be able to secure their infrastructure in minutes.”

“Becoming part of the Canonical ecosystem ensures that more organizations can enjoy the benefits of the cloud without compromising security,” said Amit Cohen, CEO of FortyCloud.
